so i got and installed my SB front springs...
in the galaxie to help with weight transfer on the launch my bb w/ ac, convertable springs measured as follows
coil thickness ..3/4"
height 17"
width 5 3/8 "
the small block no a/c springs measured as follows
coli thickness 5/8"
height 18"
width 5 3/8 "
so i get them installed and the front seems to sit a bit higher which makes a little sense since the free height was 1" more, but i would of thought that the fron would sit lower since it has the 557 in it, does that make sense to you guys,
thanks

Like Randy said... they will most likely settle a bit after you drive it around some and cycle them. Just rolling it back and forth in the drive won't do anything to them. Get some good measurements from somewhere like the center of the crossmember for reference purposes before and after 50 or so miles.
