New Oil Pan!!
Great looking stuff! I'm shopping for something to replace the "Lima" pan in my tractor. Looking at the great pic's answered some questions and brought up a few more. Will a new, smaller, hi tork starter allow a smaller relief in the kick-out in the pan rail? Does Charlie build pans in steel? Weight is not a factor, and I would guess steel to be less prone to vibration cracks, etc. Are these built to use a pickup from your shop, or some other aftermarket supplier? Hope to see y'all the 16th in T.H.

Could be steel but on a non-asphalt deal I generaly just spec a thicker gauge of aluminium . The pocket is for a late model 460 truck starter . There was a picture of the pickup....1/16" thicker at the mounting flange , large area flange to cover the relief spring plug and a 3/4" i.d. tube [not 3/4" o.d.] ...unlike the mass produced stuff .

Re: Charlie's gotta brand new pan........
More pictures of another Charlie's oil pan, purchased thru and designed by Lem. Great looking and great quality. Also weight savings of about 6.3 lbs over my old Moroso steel pan.
The only thing I'm not happy about is, I did not get that Cook Book with my pan, I had convince my wife that if she let me get the pan, she would get the book,
now I am in deep du-du with her, Thanks, Lem!
