Just checking to see who all is going to the NMRA race in Columbus Ohio. We plan on going however it all depends on some Family issues (Tracy's dad and my dad aren't doing so well).

We've been over run with Prototype orders at work and that's where I've been for the last month+. I notified my Manager that I WILL be racing in September and October, thus scheduling my Vacation in advance. Hopefully it all works out...

Hopefully we can all get together, like last year...

Running a '74 C6 behind a mild 466 in a drag race application. I manual shift the trans, using a B&M Pro Stick, but sometimes when I shift into 2nd under full throttle it has failed to make the shift and stays in 1st. This gets spooky because it would be easy to overrev the motor in this situation.
Is this a valve body problem?
Trans is essentially a stock C6 with Turbo Action shift kit.

I am in the process of building a 460 EFI engine for my 1986 F350. I am using the D9TE block, appropriate crank, a mild torque cam, F3TE heads, stock late (F4TZ) exhaust manifolds and retaining my stock non-catalyst exhaust system. My question is relating to pistons. Can I use the early 460 pistons, i.e. pre 1972 pistons with this without a problem?
