HeRo at WoRk...............
Well after 3 years our 81 lives again. Motor was dyno'd over a year ago, car got rewired, new front suspension, took some weight out, front and mid plates, bigger headers, regeared , got my old full tilt c/4. Should have it track ready here in a month, hopefully the weather will cool off some. We left the doors shut as its over 100 today and the a/c had it 75 inside, gotta work fast with all the alky fumes lol. That's my little brother there, its actually his car, he buys the stuff, I put it together, tune and drive it. My cape was in the laundry, so I didn't have it on at the time........

TravisRice wrote:Jon, I am all for weight savings, but where in the hell is the tranny crossmember ?????? like the limiters but man that has to be stressfull on the bell housing and especially that bolts in back of the block. Looks good though.

Edit : Maybe it is in the washer with the cape, if it is........ my bad.
seen many a lot faster car than mine set up this way.............the crossmember puts more stress on the case than it does without one. Those are the lateral limiters. Hell Marty Chance's car had a T400 hangin' off the back.
