Lem called me yesterday and said my (Sonic) on my block was and I quote (A bad m f) can't wait to get it. He's going to explain it to me.

Thanks Lem. My Machinist was VERY impressed w/block. He said it was alot better than the Merlin and Darts that he had worked with.

The sonic was done at the plant. They keep it w/serial# of the block. I sent the ser.# to Lem and he got the sonic from Ford. Lem, I will call you tomorrow and you can explain it all to me.

Brian Wolfe was name head of Ford racing technology ( North American Motorsports) about two years ago and has been a diehard Ford drag racing fanatic. I heard a couple of months ago he was promoted to VP of European operations. So, Im guessing the bean counters have control of the motorsports operations again.

If it aint NASCRAP related, its gonna wither on the vine.

may be just a rumor, but i heard ford was going to stop making these blocks. not enough interest in them from the racers.
