HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!! In 2WD nonetheless.

You can make the power with um, they just dont hold up very well as a daily driver lol.

Of the 10 tickets in my box 8 of um are 6.4's with serious issues.

I'm not saying the 6.0 is great, but when the failures of both are put side by side the 6.0 is a jewel lol.

I realize this is not the reason for this post, I'd like to see all the mods on the truck to get it to run those times, you would be surprised how much coin it takes...............its a weight thing lol.

Still trying to talk them at work to trade the 08 with the 6.4 end before we have to spend some more $$$$$$$$$$$ on it.It has been in the shop more times than the 00 or 02 7.3 ever been both put together and they have over 270,000 on them and the 08 has 78,000

replacing my 3rd 6.4 shortblock in the last 3 weeks, now with the new recall "reflash" lots of little things like water in fuel light on and T stat issues (which they all have) will derate the truck................we have flat not been doing the reprograms................what a damn Joke.

what do you mean derate ?

One of the brothers service trucks is a 6.4 and after they did the reflash, it won't run, and they can't undo it, or figure it out.

It goes into a safety mode and derates the power because it thinks there is a problem in the engine.

And if you get one of those recall notices in the mail I'd toss it in the trashcan.............Ford trying to stop the bleeding, but this does not protect them from the engine failures like they think it will, it just pisses the owners off even more. Freakin joke.
