Breakin ? header e-vac system

Breakin ? header e-vac system

does it matter if its hooked up or is it better to unhook it for the 1st. 30 minutes during breakin ? i thought i read something about that but it might have been about a vacuum pump ?

It;ll be ok...........it's the vacuum pump you gotta worry about. The evac. off idle won't pull much i.m.o. .....or just leave the hose off.
