1200 hp with single carb c-head
We were able to break 1200 hp at 7000rpm this weekend with a c-headed single carb with ford cast manifold. THis engine was a wet sump with a vacuum pump. We used our custom 1450 with jomar spacer and ported c-heads along with a modified c manifold. Customer will be playing in the mudd so no belt drive. Kaase oil pump and custom camshaft from Lem. This I feel is a great accomplishment for us and goes to show how hard we are working to keep making power. Hopefully Lem will post a dyno sheet for me.

Oakley Motorsports built the engine.
Specifics of the parts which were used is probably confidential to that customer. Most customers want it that way and engine builder integrity is important to most customers.

Re: 1200 hp with single carb c-head
Thanks for all the compliments. We have been working really hard on our c-head program and it is good when things pay off a little. Randy is correct but i can give you some info. cam under .900 lift (ordered from lem). Cylinder heads had been ported by someone else and I rubbed on them a little more and added our custom valve job. This was good for anywhere from 30 to 50 numbers of flow.
