468" trick flow street headed BBF
I thought I would post the results of my build from last season for some of you guys who may be wonderiing about the tfs street heads. I am very pleased with this motor.
I have a 468" BBF
TFS street heads (port matched to intake)
edelbrock Victor intake
1050 custom quick fuel Dominator
cast crank
Eagle H beams
Ross pistons 13.5:1 comp ratio
comp custom ground cam (around .760 lift cant remember duration)
2 1/8" headers
power glide with brake
6000 stall TCI converter (too loose)
and 4.56 gear
29.5*10.5 tire
car weighs 3150lb with me in it. (95 mustang)
In late october the car ran a best of 6.20 @ 115mph with a 1.40 60ft.
(the car also has ran a 6.30 @ 115 so im not sure what is up that would keep mph but loose ET)
I have a neil chance converter that stalls 4000 but it has a horrible 60ft with that converter. I plan to have it restalled and put it back in. the car went 6.50s with the chance converter.
The car made 610hp and 490ft lb on dyno. I believe the torque numbers are off due to the loose converter, I think its blowing through it. Just thought Id post these numbers and stuff if anyone was interested in a similar build.

yeah im really thinking the converter is the main thing that is hurting me. but im still fairly new to this level of power. lol i still catch myself thinking, "my 5.0 was different"
