Torque converter
Powerglide 9" race converter. Too loose behind my A head 598.
Set up for turbo spline input and 1/8" mid plate. Can be used with 1/4 midplate with spacer washers.
PTC brand, spragless
9-TH-00 1/8 SL
Sells new for $900. Has 4 passes on it. Flashed too high, but still locked up really well. Great mph.
$450 + shipping. Firm on Price. That's 1/2 price folks for 4 passes.

Re: Torque converter
why don't you just trade it in at PTC. They work really well with the racers and give good prices.

My logger says 6490. With a shift point at 6800 I was in high gear before 100 ft. With a better air on dyno day it made 1069 hp and 920 tq
I need one that flashes 5900-6000 as my peak torque was 57-5800.

Re: Torque converter
No big deal, I need a new one for my car, the 8" one is too loose with my big motor and this one may work.
