Looking for advice on EFI
Considering a 557 stroker for an F250 4X4 project. Wondering if anyone has any experience with the FAST or Holley EFI systems.

I know FAST XFI really well. haven't used the holley system yet but I bet it's simple.

That's what i figured. Efi is not that difficult and the cost doesnt seem that bad when you consider that it can do so much.

Definitely have a ton of experience with old school FAST stuff. Currently running BS3 in the race car. Really like it so far. I have never messed with XFI stuff, but I here its a TON better than the old stuff. Never used Holley stuff.
Good luck with your project

Search around in the Electronics forum at YellowBullet.com
There are a good group of guys over running different systems. There is a real good thread going right now about a Holley Dominator install too...

megasquirt is easy to use and probbaly the chepest out the bunch. I have wired and helped tune a turbo car with this set up and it works good. unless all out performance the other systems are pricey/for what you get

i run a Massflo system (self tunes, learns) and it is great. aside from the mallory componets the fuel suplly system came with and the mallory coil wasnt strong enough for high rpm .so put in your own fuel supply

I have knowledge with fast xfi we have had very good luck, and the 2.0 has a lot of good changes. Dont know anything about holley anymore we ran away from them after the projection junk!

Re: Looking for advice on EFI
For an experienced tuner, all of the systems are capable of performing the tasks of controlling the engine. I prefer the Holley EFI due to it's streamlined software, integrated boost control, and progressive nitrous controls. Keeps wiring simple, and everything contained in one box. If you would like more details, or pricing, send me a pm with your combo, and I'd be glad to spec it out. Thanks Derek
