Re: FRANK M VALVE BODIES
look ive ran a c6 since 1976 i think, I've tried them all trans-go ect, they all work,BUT ARE INCONSISTANT . FRANKS work the same over and over,AND BECAUSE OF THIS theres less wear, and trans last longer.
I maybe the only guy whos burned up 12 c6's in 9 passes, Iknow franks work's YES 3 in the burn out box. WITH BILL BORSOM BUILDING THE TRANS,AND FRANKS VALVE BODY I have no problems

Frank hand builds his and test them and has learned all the little tricks to make what they are most of the other are mass production built and the care is not give to them that the reason one works and one might not that the reason you have a waiting line for Franks or that is what I think the reason is.

I'll be finding out soon enough about TCI's trans and brake and if it doesn't work properly I will be going with one of Franks VB's this winter.

Also IIRC Frank figured out how to fix TCI's brake before TCI figured it out...
Everyone wants them so you better raise the price on those VB's. You'll have that 712 paid for in no time.

Re Frank M valve bodies
Hey, Frank: I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but I'm trying to get another valve body for the C6 I'm trying to rebuild (first auto tranny ever for me - and the last). I was trying to be careful, but fumbled the valve body, and the springs, and check balls went everywhere. and didn't find them all! I was using TCI's instructions, and found them to be confusing, and vague (to me anyway). What I need is a good "plain vanilla" valve body, I don't need it built for a 1,000 monster - just a decent 460 in a street rod Model A. Can you help me out, or tell me who to go to?
