New from Kansas
Hello all!
I'm new to the site, from Wichita, Kansas. I am a Ford lover and have been around or familiar with several of the different Ford families. I have dealt mainly with the small block stuff, but am looking at the possibility of doing a 385 family build. I will be trying to get some ideas around this site and do some pricing, etc. I am thinking of doing an N/A or turbo setup in either my '93 Mustang or my '72 Maverick (with fabrication, obviously!).
I am a drag racer by heart. My Grandfather and Great Uncle drag raced a chopped '41 Willys in the A/G class of NHRA in the late 50's/early 60's. They used big block Ford power... at the time was a '59 Edsel engine (also called MEL or 430 Lincoln). It was stroked/bored by Joe Reath, M/T Pontiac rods and M/T pistons for 501 ci. They were the first A/Gas into the 10's and also won the '61 Winternationals for A/Gas at Pomona. So, my BBF roots come from there (although it was before the 460).
Thanks in advance for the welcome!

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I am biased towards the foxes, but I would love to see my Maverick with one too. Maybe I'll just do both, lol.
