83 yr. old man runs 7.04 @ 226 mph at NMCA race in BG....

I watched this 83 yr. old man do the most incredible burnout Saturday at Beech Bend !
His wife had to make him stop after 90 seconds and when he was done I could see fire from the bottom of his Camaro. I wish someone had a video of the b.o. (He used those pinkish-red special tires)

I had no idea he drove a fast car as well.

I hope I am able to race at 83

+1---that would be awesome if I could still be racing at that age, but I doubt it as I already have glasses at 43.

I remember watching that car win at SGMP a couple years ago and it was running 4.40s @ 175+ mph in the 1/8th.

That ol' man is a local legend. He's about 20 miles north of where I live.

It's awesome that he is still racing at that level at that age.







It sucks that Wolfe slowed it down with smaller turbos when Nelson sold the car. I look forward to seeing Wolfes new extreme 10.5/promod ride though.
