They probably rely on the closet weather reporting station or airport.

TV is not in Lexington, most of the OK mesonet sites are in major cities or towns around here. TYV sits between Slaughterville and Noble, Noble gets its data from the airport in Norman, the nearsest site to TV might be in Lexington............either way the track sits in a river bottom, the humidity and dewpoint are a lot higher than either mesonet site depict. Not sure how much it would differ.........its a fun tool but I sure wouldnt use it over my stuff I have in the trailer lol. I'm sure the actual elevation is dead on.
