I am having trouble going red. I have 26" inch now and and I'm redlighting with .017's. Trying to change the car instead of my routine.

Lower chip would be good if I wasn't footbraking. lol I leave when the last yellow lights and if I delay I'm all over the place on R.T. But if I leave as soon as I see yellow I'm red .017-.025. Wanting a taller tire so the tire stays in the beam longer. Can't lower the rpm I leave on because I leave at 2200 now.

We ran the m/t 27.5 dia on our fox, they were tight but did not rub. Sounds like a taller tire might be an easier solution for your problem, with the taller tire you can adj the tire pressure as needed as well. Softer front shock extension and more travel will also slow it down some. Increasing the front stagger can also slow down rt, but would be more a a pita IMO................

more travel = slower r/t, I don't think I'd tie it down........

Yeah, but sometimes a dead lift will take more energy than a snap lift.
