My MOM>>>>

had a heart attack today pale...... a minor one......she is76......she's okay, stable...... to me any heart attack isn't minor. Sad When stuff like this happens it REALLY makes you think.

Sorry to hear that Mike. Prayers sent. There have been quite a few of these "minor" heart attacks on my wife's side of the family. Scare the hell out of you, but the Doctors are really up to speed on this, and there is such a thing as minor anymore, with out patient treatments. Cool

So true Rob. My wife is a RN in a cath lab. They run them thru there like cattle, (with a little more care and concern of course) but I never hear her talking about many with complications. Her biggest deal, is most of them are smokers and aren't willing to quit even after have a stint run up their groin.silent

Thanks everyone for your well wishes Wink

Mom is resting well and doing much better. She was quite pooped out yesterday since they did a bunch of testing Saturday night into the wee hours of Sunday. Today further testing will resume to determine the damage and prognosis. Several years back (10+) she had heart surgery, lower valve replacement. Two weeks ago she had an appointment with the heart Dr to see how all was going with it and she was given the green light and a clean bill of health. So now we'll see what the deal is Neutral .
