Chandlers $5,000 to win race sponsored

Well guys, they had a big turn-out at Chandler IN, last night because they were paying $5000 to win. Several of our BB Ford racers were there, and it was good to see Randy Moore (KY Mustang), Dan Hobbs, Brian Spears, Bob M. and others.

An interesting side note is that Krisse Lawyer ran her personal best 60' of .9869 and also 330' with a 2.8970 e.t.,,,,but it was in the third round in a losing effort. So while we were bummed out about losing, we were pleased to see those good 60' and 330' times. Krisse said the car hooked like it never had before and hiked up the front end and she was on a ride that she knew was going to be a fast one. She had run 4.55 - 4.56 e.t. all day/all night long and we were dialed 4.55. She got on the brakes before she ever caught the much slower car, because she knew her closing rate was too fast. That's got to be hard to do! She had the quicker reaction time and took the stripe but still broke out with a 4.534 on the brakes.

Yes he did. The Jegs "traveling circuit" goes to Charleston, IL (Coles County) next weekend. That's a rough old track with a one lane bridge and no guard rails leading into it. You going to be in the area?
