I really hate to hear that. Is the entire company closing, or just your facility?

Entire Company all 5 plants we are up for sale just left from our plant here boss said he might be calling some us back in the middle of next week if the sale is finallized this week.He did tell me I would be in the 1st bunch called back in but I have been hearing that for 2 weeks now.So I will draw unemployment for 2 more weeks before I start looking into something ealse. After almost 19 years in the cargo business I might look into something easle.Might even go back to school and get my cert and go to work at the local ford dealership.Maybe I can pick up some side jods and make ends meet not many jobs here making the money I made at Pace.I hate to go back to work for peanuts and have to live week to week told the wife to get a job housewife duty just ended.

Sorry to hear that Jim. I know you were concerned when you mentioned it the other night. Like I said then, The Good Lord has a plan for all that happens. Cool

Man that really sucks Jim. I have had the same job for 18 years and I couldn't imagine trying to find another one. Especially from switching fields. Good luck my man.

Jim,

That really sucks balls! I guess my friend Jodie won't be buying a new custom Pace trailer from you guys. Thanks for answering all of his questions and good luck with the new job search.

I don't know if you're interested in moving, but Gulfstream will be hiring 1000 people over the next five years, most of which will probably be to support the new G650 program. They are pretty selective about the people they hire, but it won't hurt to try. Here's a link to the current jobs available in Savannah. http://jobs.gulfstream.com/findJobsByCityAndState.aspx?c=savannah&s=ga

Sorry to hear that Jim....Here's hoping you find something quick!!!

We had the Fram oil filter plant close here in town, 300 folks out of work. Seems to be a lot of that going around. These folks will have a very hard time finding anything that pays close to what they were getting at Fram.
