you can increase the psi in the water tank by adjusting the cut off switch.you should have a water psi gauge some were on the tank.take the cover off the cut off switch and adjust the nut down about 1/2 turn.then get someone to run the water until the switch comes on and watch the psi gauge.when the presure switch cuts off the presure should have increased on the tank = moore presure at the fauset.i have mine set at 20 psi it wont blast off the barnicals off a ship but it does what i need. Yes you can. Be carefull and do it like Larry said. I have most of mine set around 40 psi, but I have proper water line capacity for it. If you have weak pipes, extra pressure will sometimes burst these pipes. Shocked What kind of pipe do you have, plastic, copper, galvanized steel? Cool

be sure and kill the power to the switch before you mess with it.you may also need more air in the psi tank.

Thats the truth. When they finally ran city water through here the extra pressure blowed out 'bout every pipe between the meter and the house. Finally just had to redo the entire length of pipe.

You guy's are pussy's , Town water pressure in Brooks, Alberta is 75 psi , Them waters save shower heads work good when you drill out the 1/8" orifice to 1/2" . on the Farm as we have to haul water I still run 75psi as I hate wimpy showers . PS ,my 6" pipe wrench and cordless drill and a super soaker shower head comes with me any time I'm going to be saying in a motel .

Be sure to put some Clorox in the water...it'll kill the bacteria left by the cow pee that got in there during heavy rain events.

We have around 80 psi here with spikes up to 120 psi. If your system can't handle 40 psi without leaking then your plumbing is a POS.

I have my pressures set at 30 for low side and 70 for high side. You may want to make sure your tank is not water logged cause if it is it will burn up your pump
