Not sure what "double walled" means. They look to be 1.125" tubing. The top tubes will not move "upwards" much so they can be close to the bumper. I would mock them up at ride height will weight in the car, about 6" from the ground to the center of the wheel. Put your heim joints about 6-8 full turns out from being all the way in, and go from there. Good luck!

and here they are done ..... had to get up early this morning to have some quality time with the welder , hopefully the bars stay on Smile

looks good. I didn't realize you still had an 8.8. 8.8's and ladder bars are usually a no-no so keep and eye on those axle tubes.

Is it just an optical illusion from the camera or is that track locator bent? Looks like it has a bow in it in both pics...
