stole a 2 ton engine hoist from some cat on craigslist for 60.00. Went to the 'rents house and picked up my BBF which has been sitting there for the last few years. Took it over to the shop and got it cleaned up. I took the bronco BBF swap headers off and cleaned up the ex ports. Going to pull the 4cyl out tomorrow bounce

Got the drive shaft out, battery cradle, air box, electric fan, and radiator. Work decided I needed to be in San Angelo this evening so working on my toy came to a halt for the day. Sad

Kinda looking at a K-Memebr swap AJE will most likely be the one. A lot of work to do b4 I get to actually putting the motor in. Taking it to a shop for cage and mini-tub, then paint... then start on actually putting it back together.

I used a D&D KIT with qa1 front k member and struts worked out good, wish i would have used a dropped k member(skinny kids) to help out on the geometry and lower the bbf in the car so you do not have to use such a tall hood.

I'm definently going the anti-redneck way and trying to not make the BB a focal point of the car. 5" cowl, tall rears (except track days) and skinnies will not be found on this car. Just a sharp looking LX with an exhaust note that is suspect pirat

Man, that sure is a clean looking car! You have to look very hard to find a fox like that here. Most have lost a few hundred pounds to salt/snow!!

Check into the K member spacers too. You can run with no scoop with a low manifold.

Nice build.

Bill
