My C heads cc @ 71.5, my mini domes are 4 cc. I'll let Randy do the math. I know the block might bore bigger, kinda hard to tell from that angle though. You forgot about the crank. What is your guess?
I appreciate you standing up for the Michigan god, but, he can handle it on his own. He can stand on a box and talk to me face to face.

CURT ... you are to funny. You just can't acknowledge that the evidence WAS there however, what you did admit is that you don't know how to read it.
All I did was point out that "you'd actually have to know what you're looking at".
It just pains you to no end that anyone else probably could know more about anything, than you.
Pulling your chain is fun ... because it is SOoooo easy, LOL.
Just for particulars:
1. Charlie's engine was a 572 and I and everyone else knows he is not going smaller.
2. Those ARE a pair of Profiler heads
Let's say the heads have 75 cc chambers, (which is way to big but, we'll use that large volume number anyway), and the engine remained at 572 ... with a flat-top piston the compression ratio would be around 14/1.
It should have been a pretty easy conclusion to almost anyone that the engine in the photos was NOT low compression for gasoline. Unless you were being facetious about alcohol vs. gasoline which definitely wasn't previously mentioned in the thread.
You're probably the only one on here who doesn't realize that asking "why the low compression pistons" was an absolutely inappropriate question, especially from someone who is self proclaimed to know about such things.
EDIT: If knocking and ridiculing me makes you feel better and maybe even superior then go ahead; you were right, I can take it.
