Had a few nice small blocks...Stepped into the BB relm with a 505 BBC n a ladder bar coupe...Ran some 8.6s on a 250 hit...Traded that car to this one and the motor went down on the first outing at the track. Just my luck...LOL...Hopin for some low 8's on nuts and maybe a high 7 on a lil whiff...really not one to spray more than 250 or 300 but would like to get it done with 150 or 200...While were talkn guys, its also gotta TITAN oil pump with a Jeff Johnson pan, how much oil pressure do you guys like to see @ idle and WOT ?the Coug wrote:Henry I take it you were a small block guy? if so take it easy these are noting like a small block the torque is tremendous it will suprise you...I also am with Larry on this one start at 6800 and work up till you find the sweet spot.

A Idle it is what it is..... WOT @ Peak RPM.... 60ish is plenty IMO

I was told 60 to 70 psi would be fine @ WOT....Jus wanted to get some other opinions...LOL Thanks for all the info guys....Any other things you guys could give advise on as far as the engine build, I have NEVER dealt with a BBF let alone one 605 inches...Any help is welcomed...dfree383 wrote:A Idle it is what it is..... Got my pump back from Titan this week. GOOD LAWD they like those things....
