Header opinion

I need to replace the headers on my street/strip 89 fox with a 514. I currently have hooker supercomps but would like to get something of better quality. The engine is a P-51 headed 514 with a 1050 Dominator and a big roller cam. I'm also currently running a QA1 k-member with the Ford Motorsport motor mount kit. Ive been looking at the Kooks, D and D stuff and Dyna Techs. It seems the D and D guys recommend going to a motor plate which I'm not excited about because I would have to change a bunch of stuff. The Dyna Techs you have to change k-members, and the Kooks are pretty expensive. That being said I will make whatever changes that I need to and spend whatever I need to, to get the best headers for my application, but I don't want to throw money away either. Also I'm not set on those 3 by any means, if there other brands out there I'm open to all suggestions. Any opinions and advice is appreciated. Thanx.

Get with Randy Malik on the engine plates he has, they are specific for a fox body, and would be well worth the effort. As far as headers, there are plenty of good guys out there, and I would say Fab Shop stuff is top quality.
