carb choices winter changes

Doing a little changing this winter. I have a 460 with 10.5 compresion with ported doves 2.19/1.76 valves. It's in a 3500# car with a 3500 stall primarly a street car. 150 shot of NOS. I'm wanting to change to soild roller different intake & carb. Has RPM intake on it now and 850 demon and a comp 292 grind. Have been told the carb is to small. If so I am looking at a 1000 cfm hp annular 4150 or 1050 domintor or suggestions? But whould like to keep the intake no taller then the RPM hood clearance

Go with either size carb you mentioned, I have had really good success with the Quick Fuel Technology carbs.
