Finally Joined

Long Time reader , Finally joined... Just a little info about my project 1970 f-100 SWB 466 100 shot NOS ... Best et so far is 12.10 @ 111 mph with a 1.72 60'. Just having some Chassis issues running M/T ET Street 295/65/15 with 3.50 Truetrac gears. I have been chatting with dirt_worker to buy a few parts but can't seem to be getting my PM's sent . If any one knows how to reach him Please have him to PM me . Thanks and really looking forward to reading and learing from all you on here , There seems to be more knowledge on here than I could possibly learn in my Life , Just trying to learn all I can and have fun with my project .

Dave , Trying to figure out how to upload images. I would also like to see your build of your 70 truck also . It's hard to find people building trucks like ours. Cause I definately need all the help I can get !!!! Thanks

Yeah I love those style trucks also... Going back with original colors Candyapple Red W/ Wimbledon white top. She is all primered up right now gonna get the Driveline like I want then gonna paint her.. Jimmy

welcome to the site Jimmy I myself like the old late 67-71 f100 I have had my 69 for 18 years thought about saking a bunch of times but just can't bring myself to sale it.I built my 460 the 1st time for it but after going to the track with a good friend with his car got me back in the fever to race again.I couldn't bring myself to cutting up the 69 so I started looking for a Ranger to build to drag race with.I bought my 2000 Ranger from the junk yard and started building.I run it on tnt night at Cecil most of the time still working to get it to run the 6.50 class.Maybe we will meet up some time down at the track.

I will be looking for you @ cecil. I have been running only on the TNT nights also still trying to get my chassis right having a hard time transfering the weight to the rear. My best time so far has been a 12.10 @ 111 m.p.h. 1.72 60' that is with a 100 shot of nos. I don't want to cut up my truck still want it street Drivable. I will be back @ Cecil in mid Jan. for TNT just look for the primered truck I put a 68-69 grille in mine I like that style better. I also had a 68 i got when i was 16 kept it for 10 yrs. then traded it for KIDS and WIFE !!! Still got kids but got rid of WIFE ... LOL . Kids bout grown now found this truck last year couldn't resist and started building it. See you soon

I'm going to try and make some of the T&T days toward the end of January..
Need to see what this new horsepower will do..

Man in the short time I have joined Everyone has been really friendly and helpful . Hopefully I will get a chance to meet alot of you, Alot of the builds ( Well about 99% ) are alot more than what I'm doing its really interesting reading what everyone has to say & am learning alot.
