Winterizing an engine???
At what valve lift should the rocker arms be backed off?
What if anything should the cylinders be treated with?
Fuel system (gas)?
Already drained water and filled with antifreeze!!
I live in Northern Indiana.

at any lift if it possible IMO, A little WD40 in the cylinders and inside the headers if possible.

We kill the car using fogging oil, tape everything up, drain water, take Poly-locks off.

Re: Winterizing an engine???
If the engine/car will be subjected to extreme freezing temperatures, I would circulate a quart of anti-freeze into the block using the water pump if possible. Water has a sneaky way of hiding! Another idea of Winter storage I like, remove the spark plugs. With ignition OFF and battery in good condition, crank the engine while spraying WD40 down the carburetor (carb blades at WOT). This will help the valve seats and valve surfaces as well as cylinder walls and rings fight corrosion through the Winter.
