New here, just saying hi

Hey guys I'm new here, hoping to share and gain some knowledge as I go through my next build. Its been over 15 years since I built a ford, and honestly it feels good to back to the Fords. Having a lack of fund for my next project I'm trying to do things on the cheap. I came across a 1979 mustang with a back half cage, frame ties, and no engine or transmission, the wheels started turning in my head, and I made a phone call to my Dad. "Hey dad, are you ever gonna do anything with that 429 we put together like 5 years ago?" I knew the old man had no plans for the motor, it was just a matter of talking him in to parting with it, and I did. I went to my Parents picked up the motor, bought the mustang, and called Bob at D&D to talk about swap kits. I will be ordering the swap kit early next week, and the build will start.
