PRO CHARGER OR SUPER CHARGER

with is better for the street and tq. my boss is wanting to step his suv and want it to pull his camper with it he is thinking about a pro charger or super charger with one will give him the most tq. for pulling he don't want a turbo I know before yall say anything it is a 2005 chevy tahuo 5.3 in it he has the k@n filter and reprogramed the computer but he said it still needs alittle more pulling power he is looking to spend around $3500 to $4000 on it but don't want to loose to many mpg for dayly driving he said he only get about 10 mpg with the camper and wanted to try to get alittle better mpg when pulling it by getting some more hp and wants the bolt on hp.He don't want to buy a new truck if he can get this one to pull the camper alittle better.Thanks guys any help you can give.

Would it be easier to put a 6.0 from a Denali in it? Maybe that and a chip would get enough TQ boost?

If he wants to keep same engine, the Vortec/Paxton type blower is more efficient as far as heat build up, easy to package too.

Magnacharger makes a kit for that 5.3.

Belts are for holding your pants up. Through a turbo on it.

The belt comment is great.

The roots style design of the magnacharger is going to give that truck more torque right away. It may not be as efficient or end up with as high of peak numbers as a paxton or other centri's (or turbos for that matter) but I'd think it wold be a better choice for pulling a load. JMO
