what ford head is comperable to the chevy big chief

i have several friends with big chiefs and 632 inch motors that make our chit look stupid ? why do we just not have the interest

my buddy just built a 632 big chief with a small cam and only turning it to 6800 and made 1270 with 1 carb why is this ? its just fustrating Mad

The C head is very comparable to the Big Cheif. I wouldn't worry about bench racing dyno sheets. Our stuff will hang with the chebbie boyz all day long.

i dont agree -there is not one single 4 carbor even 2 carbs 632 on this site that makes that kinda power unless ive missed something

Phillip did an honest 1200+ on a single carb with a C head deal.

The big chief is a serious player They come c&c'd from dart flowing 550 @.900. My buddy I race with every weekend runs them on a 632, it makes 1206 & 990. Its will take a C, profiler, thor to compete @ the dyno.

Rich Wilhelms (Circle R) 640 inch deal has that covered in spades. It's not a wedge head deal but will kick the fuck outta that Chevy.
