I have a smallblock car also, its a good solid low 10 sec "bracket car".........................thats about it lol.

I know Ted w the falcon has a 427 he sprays pretty hard w a fogger, but I think he is also 2850 #s. And its not some thrown together deal either, its a Panhandle Performance piece.

This is a BB site, most of us are biased this way......................I can tell you my BB car is a hell of a lot more fun to drive lol.

I don't think a 557 10.9 motor with p51na is going to.do it?

My wife drives a 600hp small block car around on nice days and to work sometimes in the summer, jus sayin...

The big block will go FASTER than the small block by using fewer high dollar parts and hold together longer as well. If you've already got the small block stuff build it and have a blast until it throws a rod after the 3rd or 4th No2 hit, then step up your game and build a BBF and never look back!

The extra weight is negligible, but the extra power will more than make up the difference.
