Oh My Gosh - seen at Don Bowles shop

Post  c.evans on January 12th 2012, 7:16 pm

Okay guys,

Capt. Jack Austin and I made a run this afternoon over to Don Bowles place,,,,and we saw "The" yellow Maverick, "The" record setting A/SM '78 Fairmont, a brand new yellow Mustang racercar, a couple of AC Cobra kit cars with Ford power, a few mod motors, an experimental Ford engine and more! I hope to see you all there Jan 14th 8:00 a.m. CST.

Clarification on directions. For those of you coming from north of the Ohio River,,,,head south to Evansville, IN, cross the Ohio River into Henderson KY and continue south on the Pennyrile Pkwy. to exit 49 for Hanson, KY. Turn right, going west into the little town of Hanson. Turn left at the first stoplight and go south on U.S. Hwy 41 about 1.5 to 2 miles and turn left on Hwy 862. Go east on Hwy 862 about 1/2 mile and you see 5 large blue buildings on your right. We'll be in the biggest, building 645A. Pay your $20 at the door, get your lunch ticket and come on in Exclamation Very Happy

Hope to see you there Cool

Uncle Charlie

The Maverick was the IHRA car,Not the NMRA car. I peaked under the hood at the empty engine bay. Very top notch work, too say the least Shocked
