Header flanges for A heads

Post  soupbean on Thu 19 Jan - 23:10

I am having headers built for my A head deal and couldn't find flanges individual per runner so I had some made by Berry Motorsports. They came out very nice so I wanted to post incase others are trying to find them there is a source for them. I made a drawing based off the exhaust design that fit nicely with the head. I had these made for 2 1/4" tubing but can be made for whatever tubing you like or opening location you would like. They were made out of 3/8" thick stainless. $200 was the bill. Just thought I would pass it on and maybe help someone else on the hunt for exhaust flanges. I have pics but don't know how to post them. If any board members would like to post I can send the pics via email.

The only thing I found was one piece deals (I'm sure the individual flanges are out there but I gave up searching). Yes they were less but then I would had to spend the time to hack them up to be individual. In my situation (557 in a SN95 stang) not a lot of room so since I was custom fabbing headers I wanted individual flanges and slip on collectors to make life easier when removing the headers in the future.

I'm pretty sure I remember Jon Thee had individual flanges for A heads.

I don't think Jon offered the flanges in stainless steel. That's what the original poster is offering.

Have a good day!

No, you're correct, Jon is not set up for stainless.
