New intake manifold is ready to go on.........

Post  richter69 on Sat 28 Jan 2012 - 17:20

The Snake put the Albert Clark "up your ass" mod on this M'Fer, I think I ground about 2#'s of material from the plenum, extra crap it dont need etc................I did have to paint the son of a bytch myself, but was to be expected considering the person it was coming from.............. Razz

Thanks to the Snake for the bad ass manifold, if it does what I think it will the DD is gonna honk this season.............. cheers

just waitin on a set of thicker Cometic intake gaskets, the std thickness allow the manifold to hit the ports too low, the other intake was like this as well, but I just ran it anyway lol. Just trying to get it all lined up good this go round. Will get the rest of the rocker studs swapped out, finish a few little wiring projects and she will be about ready to take to MDRC and get some scales thrown under it.

Looking at the photos ... I thought Blake was going to go a little farther than what he did. If this one does what it is supposed to do; that will be for the next one, LOL.

The Mafia intake is shorter to start with, If he has enough cam it should peak about 74-7500....................

Blake,

was or is there a flaw with the original design for the reason of doing the mod to this intake ? or did you guys just leave enough of meat to allow the custom guy to port and weld ?

btw good looking piece guys .....
