DOVE-A BLK Empty DOVE-A BLK

My DOVE-A 4 Bolt main blk is 4.44 overbore now. How much more can I go?,can I get a 4.47 over piston for a TFS-a-460 head, 4.3s vs 4.47b? THANKS,MAVMAN

Need to sonic it and see what it will take, also a half fill would be a good idea if its not done already.

X 2 on what dfree said. You can get a piston in whatever size bore you want. The determining factor is what rings sizes are available. Yes, 4.470" ring packages are the next size up from 4.440".

Depends on the shop.... $100 +/-

I wouldn't just bore it to fit some inexpensive pistons, if the bore is not wore out I'd get pistons to fit it.

Sometimes and sometimes not ... it will depend upon THAT block and how thick those cylinder walls are.
Sonic checking will tell you ... some can go as large as 4.500" if you "half fill" the block water jackets.
