Plug heat range for a SBF...?

Post  jbozzelle on March 25th 2012, 11:13 am

Just curious if anybody has run anything other than stock replacement Autolites ot Motorcrafts. It's got a set of 69-70 big plug stye heads on it...

It's been years since I fooled with them. I haven't retained all that knowledge... Laughing

I'm thinking I used to run a 32s on the spray and 52s on the motor... All the parts stores say 42s

Thanks Randy. Does a 42 sound hot enough for a pump gas street engine?
