I like the ex 514 single 4, the TrickFlow is also very nice, both are comparable price wise.

We've tried them all, meaning the old style Ford Motorsports manifold, the EX-514, and the current new style TFS A-460. For your 600+CID nitrous application, you will want the new TFS A-460 manifold. When I say tried them all, that was both on the dyno and actual drag strip testing.

I don't know about the power level however, actually Charlie, a customer of mine changed to the new improved Trick Flow manifold form the his older "flat-floor" plenum TFS manifold on consecutive weekends at the strip and on "all engine NA" it was a bit quicker but, when using his nitrous, (a plate of around 200 horsepower), it was a bit slower than before.
It could be attributed to the slightly larger plenum of the "flat-floor" intake or the distribution taking place of the nitrous plate or even air density, with and without the nitrous in use..

I wish I knew what it really was though, LOL.

You are probably going to love a little on any of them. One thing I would agree with is that the TrickFlow is probably the most readily available and would certainly fill your needs. The EX514 is a great intake, but there is usually a wait, the Motorsport you can usually be found used, but isn't quite as good as the new offerings. Either way you can meet your goals.

Randy,

I noticed that he said 600+CID and based on that, then it's been our experience that the new style TFS A-460 would be the better manifold. However, I do know that the older style Motorsports manifold seems to work better on smaller A-460 headed engines. Therefore I think the CID of the intended engine is a very important part of the equation.

Another option would be a Holmes style, or Newer style TFS tunnel ram with a single top, or do a custom split deal, but that's another conversation altogether.

I am NOT talking about the "Motorsport" manifold.
These were BOTH the taller TFS manifolds, just the floor of the plenums seemed to be different.

His engine is a 572 ... bigger 4.600" bore, shorter 4.300" stroke.

About a year ago, I asked Lem about this when it happened and he confirmed that TFS did make a running change to their A manifold plenum floor.

There are two versions of the 'new' TFS manifold [the ones with the windsor water neck] the last several years the newer new manifold has a convex plenum floor.

Do you have a part number for the new TFS intake, this will be a Fogger system so i do not think the floor will effect the fogger system. this Motor should make 900 plus on motor and have 400-500 spray.
