Hopefully you get to drive it on the street plenty.

How was the Fast XFI to set up?

Cheers

I would like to see it in the 10.4 -10.5 range but sometime next summer it is going to get a power adder nitrous or turbos haven't decided yet. I think i am loosing some et and mph through converter slippage. i am getting almost 10% at the stripe and the rpms are only dropping around 1000 on the shifts.
i haven't completely dialed in the fuel yet or played with the timing but i think both are close.

thanks, the XFI wasn't bad to set up as long as you have a good understanding of engines. read through the help / instructions really good several times.

I would certainly be looking at a new converter. A matched converter - from a reputable company (UCC etc..) can make a world of difference.

I run a 8" A1 converter on the street with my heavy deal. Big C6 cooler added as well to keep temperatures in check.
You have probably already noticed that street pavement traction is laughable.

yea, this converter is rated 2900-3400 and it flashes 4700 . i have had this car for 20 years and it has been parked the last 12. every converter i have ever put in it was much looser than it was supposed to be including a custom contenental ( which chris took care of). i think i am going to put that one in even though it was built for a 588 and see where it is. over the winter once i decide on which power adder i go with i will probably have lenny build one for it. would love to have a bolt together but not sure if anyone does them for a c6. i think it should run in the 130 mph range so i am trying to work on that to determine if the motor is where i think it should be power wise before winter. who knows i might try to get the motor on a dyno somewhere over the winter .
