I am going to build a 429 or 460 for a pulling truck for my son to pull what block should i be looking for? Thanks in advance for any help.

A D1 block will have a little more deck material then C8\C9\D0's to cut and ensure everything is square and straight. Are there limits, or are strokers allowed?

Not really its a street stock class i am just wanting somethig around 450-475HP

Any 2-bolt block will do, however the D9TE block will require clearancing if you use a 4U series production cast crankshaft.
