$7500.00. You dont have to read the whole add to find my asking price.

It was born with a 302, and now has the Crites parts/mounts/stands and headers to set a 385 down in the frame rails. This also includes the Crites (Howe) aluminum radiator. The Rob MC fuel sending unit with return line privision, regulator, and filter. It has the Boyd Butler suspension parts on the front end. (Shelby drop, bumpsteer kit, camber correction kit, etc) The 4 link and NEW Nodular 9" with discs on the rear. New Richmond 3.89 Gear. I do have a brake/clutch assembly for the car to convert it to manual. Also have the engine stands and FE motor mounts if you want to go that way.

So here is where I'm at on this project. It needs and engine and transmission, and driven to settle in the all new suspension. It's on good rollers right now.

And that is why I am pissed and selling it. In short I am being "Cooned" by the engine builder. He is a complete wizard and stallwart of Ford Motorsports, but as the leaves fall again, I cannot wait another year on him to finish building my 521. As the registered and insured car sits and collects dust, I have made and lost deals while waiting on him to finish it. I dont want to build it any other way that how i intended to build it, I dont want to find another pristene 429 and deliver it to a builder that actually returns calls and emails, because it pisses me off that I already did that once. Once the car goes, I wont mind losing my 2500 deposit and motor for the opportunity to badmouth the builder if his name pops up. Until then i will keep the builder to my self...unless a saavy member spends way too much time searching my old posts to find his name.

This car was intended to get a 650+ horse 521 stroker, and the suspension was built to put that power to the ground. In a corner. Flat out. On the street or track. I have missed 2 yrs worth of track days and car shows and cruises, maybe someone has a powerplant to get this car goin now?

Front bench seat. B&M floor shifter in car (was for the C4) Interior is fairly clean and well kept. It has a seat cover on the bench but never really pulled it up to see if there was problems there.

As with any old hot rod, there are many more things i could describe about it, but am hoping the pictures help me. Please call or email if you want pictures or info, public or private.

Maybe after this I can start a project that will be finished without me putting my faith, money, and belief in someone that cant stand by their own word.

Car is in North Ogden Ut

If it was me..I would go get my stuff from said builder and finish the project..

On a side note, it took less then 5 minutes to find the builders name..

I grabbed the pictures of the car I already had in photo bucket during the chassis build. I can and probly should take more shots of the exterior and inside of it.

Some info that hit me after i posted it for sale is it has had the sub frames welded front to back, all the way to the old leaf spring perches, and i had them tie in with the trans mount stubs to help with the rigidity. One of the torque boxes was already welded partly before I got it, but redid both sides.

Dude ,I love your car!! I'd be going and getting my engine parts and telling him exactally wat I thought of him and demanding some of my money back, maybe even take Thunderchicken with me!! Then i'd finish that Badazz car !! you got way to much time and effort in that car to let it go!! You'll be sicker than you are now if you just cut your losses!! Good luck!

Thank you guys for the kind words and encouragement. I do want to keep my options open, but am supremely peeved at the overall delay in my project. A short trip to the builder is a 500 mi trip through the mountains, and mostly unsafe during winter months. By the time fall is here, it is not safe to travel till spring. Thats how i know it is the same ole, same ole as last year at this juncture. Since a good deal of resources and effort have already been dumped into the initial build, duplicating those efforts would drain the "car fund". Making the second effort almost half ass and less that what it should be. In fact, to occupy my time, i have built an entirely different car just to have something different to drive. How is that for bragging rights? "I built and entire car from the ground up in less time than it took for him to build a 521!"

I hate complacency and laziness. A job worth doin, is a job worth doin right. I just kind of ran out of patience and am ready to put it behind me and start something different, but i am keeping my options open and will sit on it if I have too. I feel like Uncle Rico...If I could just go back in time...Jet Boat Bob is just down the road....

You think 500 miles through the mountains is bad..the drive to JetBoatBob's will really be a good one...I've been through Utah a few times from here.My Ex was from Washington ! Drive over and get your stuff,IF he still has it?? And ship it to Bob,you'll be gald you did!!Or I'd call that guy EVERY day until my shit was done!!then I'd take the Baddest truck load of crazy buddies and my Pitbull and go get my engine Laughing Good luck ,that just plain sucks!!
