552 BUILD Empty 552 BUILD

I have 2 different blocks one is a c9 and two are d9 which one would work the best for a 552cid with 4.5 crank, 6.7 rod.I have heard the d9 crank might hit the cyclinder and will have to be clearanced but the long cyclinder will help with piston rock when it comes down. Was told the c9 will work with no problems but at high rpm might get alittle piston rock when the piston come down to the bottom.I am looking at a all forged 552 stroker kit at a real good price just waiting on a reply on the pistons if the pistons will work for me they are custom pistons.Just trying to figure what block will work best for this build.

Either block will do the job. I didn't have to clearance anything in my D9 block, and the longer skirts can be helpful, but either way is good. If you can get a sonic check done that is what i would use to decide.
