Well It's Official. Chuck and his Father Eddie are traveling to Texas to pick up a 70 Fastback from The Coug. Randy B. Thanks a TON for donating the body.
Kudos go out to Bill Mitchell of BMR Performance. Bill was over to the shop Saturday taking measurements and has already started building the chassis.
Here's a few pictures and more pictures on my photobucket account at this link

Come on. Don't leave us hanging... round or square tube? strut or a-arm? ladder bar or 4-link?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Chuck's Mustang
It is going to be a mild steel round tube chassis built to SFI25.4 with front struts and a 4-link rear. I can't drop the body down too far over the chassis, because I have to try and get Chuck some extra head room. By relocating the seat and changing from the 2x3 subframe connectors that went through the floor on his old car, I have already gained about 1 1/2" extra head room for him.

Sounds like a nice chassis.
I know all about the headroom too. Looks like I might need to replace my 2x3 driver's frame connector with a piece of round tube to gain some headroom as well.
It's hell being big!

Surely someone knows someone who needs a decent cheap racecar. Try and sell it and get Chuck some money

Not trying to hijack the thread, Damon asked me to post this over here. This is what I told Damon and Chuck I would do for them. I may be able to do a little more depending on the deal I can make with the car.

I talked to Bill last night and we were joking about getting more room for Chuck. While at the shop I told Bill to include a booster seat so I can drive Chuck's car
Thanks again Travis and ALL my BBF Brothers. Your generous donations are GREATLY appreciated!

Columbus Swap
Damon/Chuck
Don't forget that the Columbus ALL FORD Swap is coming up on Thanksgiving weekend. Lots of good parts that you might need for the car.

I can't believe you haven't sold that thing yet Travis. It looks like a decent car to me.

Truth of the matter is out of all the inquiries.......... Probably 200-250.......... not one person has came to look at the car. Have had lots of offers on even up trades but nothing I am truly interested in. 3 deposits later and its still here. As of yesterday, a member off of the 460ford site is supposed to be coming on the day after Thanksgiving to make the purchase, Not holding my breath though. Seems that in this day and age a mans word is less and less valuable.

Copy/Paste from Bill's Post on the Chuckathon thread.
I have done some more cutting, so here are a few more pictures. I cut the floor pans away from the rockers and cut right in front of the door posts across the firewall. The body will need some more cleaning up around the rockers, lower part of the windshield area, and the inside of the quarters to allow for the larger wheel tubs.
