Newby from S.Carolina

Hey guys, not new to bb,but joined this forum after lurking for a long time. I enjoy all the knowledge freely shared here. I`ve got a 74 vega with a low buck 466/c4 combo that runs 6.20/9.80 times on pump 93 octane.

Was it you that they had lift the hood at the Fun Ford Atlanta race in 2001 ??

QtrWarrior, guilty as charged. They didn't believe I had a Ford motor in my car.

I knew what was up when I saw the hood go up....lol

I miss the Fun Ford Atlanta races. They don't have them anymore. I won the foot brake class in 2005 and had alot of fun doing it. But they wouldn't put a picture of my chevy in the Ford magazines.

I was at them between 2000 - 2005.Sure do miss them..
I was hard to miss,in a white dragster, usually the only one there..

Didn`t see many dragsters there, most guys like me don`t have an nhra license & it`s hard to slow a dragster down to 10.00.
