A guy told me, that a 1971 460 block out of a Lincoln. Had more steel around the cylinder walls making a more desirable block. So, IS THIS FACT OR FICTION......be nice to finally get this cleared up Sleep , as i have ask my two Ford buddys, and they have not a drunken clue. So they are saying Fiction....Thanks Ted drunken

Total fiction ... no production 385 block, (other than the Boss), has any rhyme or reasoning to what the thickness the cylinder walls may be. They are all over the map.
