what about the body? is it an all fiberglass deal?

Yes the body is all fiberglass. It was built by the original owner of Bruis glassworks when the company was in jolten ,tennessee. Here are some old pics of the chassis in the works

I take it that on launch the shut off is coming out? Here is something that might help if you are using a 3-way shut off valve.
