New Guy from Pacific NorthWest

Post  cwracing on October 30th 2009, 4:19 pm

Hello Everyone,

Cliff Wright here, owner/driver of an A/A 1996 Ford Thunderbird. Car was built by Rick Jones for Jon Yoke in 1996 and it won the IHRA world championship that year. It now has a 645ci B441B Hemi that I've been working on for a couple of years and I'm getting very close to having the car completed. Thanks for putting up this website... I can never get to much Ford stuff.

Here's a picture of the car with the new Hemi mocked up in the chassis.

This is picture from a test session a few years back. The car went 7.46@186mph with an A head 605ci engine.

It had an 815" Hemi when we ran it in Pro 5.0. Sadly, we sold the car as a roller and the new owner put a twin turbo BBC in it... Sad
