what kind of total timing are yall running out there? motor is 514 with A429 cobra jet heads close to 13-1

I'd start with 32 and work your way up.

yes that seems to be the going rate, ho wabout spark plugs? best coil? trying to work on my tune this winter and would love to hear some input

My old 466 w/14.1 and a429 heads liked 35 to 36.

Ok so 36*, I'm currently at 34, now how about best spark plugs? I run a HVC coil, thought about changing it, any thoughts?

I was running the autolite ar33's but have switched to the NGk's. No particular reason but to try something different. I have the HVC2.

Yea NGK plugs seem to be easier to read, that's what I will be getting
