TFS A intake?

My brother intake looks to have a raised floor compared to my intake. Are the newer in
take worth more HP? My intake is about 7yrs old.

The older manifolds...same part #... have a ~ flat floor...the newer deals are convex. I'd depend on the applications but, i.m.o. they both could serve the same need if properly ported. It's one of those deals where a 557" may want something different than a 632".
