Small D/A air sander

Post  JBR-3 on May 11th 2014, 11:38 pm

I'd sure like to find one that will run off of a 2-hp 120-volt compressor.
That means about 4cfm at 90 psi. I know a number of these sanders
really use more CFM then they claim.
Anybody have any luck here ?
Thanks much.
I know I really need a bigger compressor, but that's a ways off at the moment.

I have a couple of the electric ones and they work fairly well.

I have a Bosch d/a sander that I really like. Its a nice deal and it's held up for the past 10 yrs or so. Big heavy duty jobs I use my air d/a though. Just my .02

Yeh...DA sanders use air like you cut the end off the air hose. Sounds like you oughta go electric...or do a LOT of waiting for the compressor to catch up.
